Virginia Gay Hahn

Virginia Gay Hahn, 86, of Thurmont, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 22, 2025, at her home.

Born on December 13, 1938, in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles Arthur and Virginia Ruth (Eyler) Elder. She was the wife of the late Lewis Edward Hahn, Sr.

Virginia enjoyed crafts, music, and shopping. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving Virginia are children Lewis E. Hahn Jr. and life partner Karen Demeza, Trina Wiltrout and husband Tim, Jeff Hahn and wife Karen, and Andrew Hahn Sr. and wife Trish; grandchildren Chad Hahn and wife Nikki, Chris Keilholtz and wife Lauren, Travis Hahn and wife Haley, Cody Hahn and wife Lauren, Brittney Wivell and husband Justin, and Andrew Hahn Jr. and companion Kate; Hayden, Parker, Colby, Landis, Chloe, Braelynn, Abby, McKenzie, Ashton, Brantley, Pavani, Baylor, Cooper, Josh, and Addie; brothers Arthur Elder and wife Monica and David Elder and wife Adrian; sister Dale Norton and husband John; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by granddaughters, Tiffany Nicole Hahn and Ashley Marie Keilholtz.

The family received friends on Monday, September 29, 2025, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 East Main St., Thurmont, MD 21788.

Services and interment in Blue Ridge Cemetery were private.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Frederick Health Hospice.
