Thurmont High School Alumni Association Banquet Coming Up

The Thurmont High School Alumni Association banquet will be held on June 7 at 3:00 p.m. at the Rocky Ridge Fire Company Building, located at 13527 Motters Station Road in Rocky Ridge.

The evening begins with a social hour at 3:00 p.m., followed by a turkey and oyster dinner. Dinner starts promptly at 4:00 p.m. No alcoholic beverages are allowed. The meal will be served buffet-style. Those unable to come to the serving line will be accommodated (there is a section on the return form for you to specify if you will need assistance).

The program will consist of door prizes; 50/25/25 raffle; a raffle basket; and new this year, donated Silent Auction items. These donations will go toward the Scholarship Fund.

The anniversary classes this year are those that end in 0 and 5. The anniversary classes will be responsible for any decorations for their tables. Each anniversary class should designate a spokesperson to introduce the members and give a few facts about the class.

New this year: We will recognize GLEE CLUB members by asking them to stand during the program.

The price of the banquet is $27.00 per person. It is important that everyone return their prepaid reservations no later than May 23, 2025. Checks for the banquet should be made payable to the Thurmont High School Alumni Association. Our scholarships totaling over $20,000 are only possible through your donations. Please consider a donation by making a check payable to the Community Foundation of Frederick County or pay by credit card on the website at FrederickCountygives.org, then press “Give Now” and enter Thurmont High School Alumni Scholarship Fund. Checks for the scholarship fund will also be accepted at the banquet on June 7. Donations can be made any time of the year. These donations are tax-deductible.
