Rocky Ridge Baby Show Results 2026
The annual Mt. Tabor Church Big Picnic, Tractor Parade, and Baby Show was held on Saturday, August 8, at Mt. Tabor Park in Rocky Ridge. A total of 18 babies—9 girls and 9 boys—participated in the show.
For the first time ever, we had more tractors in the Tractor Parade (22) than we had babies in the Baby Show! The youngest baby was Molly Carter, 17-day-old daughter of Lauren and Kevin Carter of Smithsburg. There was one set of twins, but no triplets in this year’s Baby Show. The 18-month-old twin boys, John and Steven Sanders, sons of Ralph and Brittany Sanders, came from Thurmont. Nine-month-old Jaxson Greene, son of Brad and Sheri Greene, traveled the farthest distance from York, Pennsylavania. Babies placed in three categories: prettiest girl, cutest boy, and chubbiest baby, in five age categories, from 1 day to 24 months old.
There were only two babies, one boy and one girl, in the one day to three-month-old category. The prettiest girl was Molly Carter, 17-day-old daughter of Lauren and Kevin Carter of Smithsburg. Two-month-old Jacob Roelkey, son of Alecia Sexton of Rocky Ridge, was named the cutest and chubbiest baby. There were no babies in the four to six-month-old age category—that’s a first!
In the 7-to-12-month-old category, there were six babies. Marielle Rivord, 8-month-old daughter of Samantha and Justin Rivord of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, was judged the prettiest girl. The cutest boy was Jaxson Greene, nine-month-old son of Brad and Sheri Greene of York, Pennsylvania. Sadie Wivell, 7-month-old daughter of Shante Wivell and Sophien Djemmao of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, was named the chubbiest baby.
The 13-to-18-month-old category had only three registered babies. Olivia Hahn, 17-month-old daughter of Amanda and Danny Hahn of Emmitsburg, was judged the prettiest girl. The cutest boy was Steven James Sanders of Thurmont, 18-month-old son of Ralph and Brittany Sanders, while his twin brother, John Brooke Sanders, was named the chubbiest baby.
The 19-to-24-month-old category was the largest this year, with seven babies. Lucy Carter, 22-month-old daughter of Lauren and Kevin Carter of Smithsburg, was named the prettiest girl. Knox Potts, 21-month-old son of Rob and Kortney Potts of Fairfield, Pennsylvania, was named the cutest boy. The chubbiest baby was 23-month-old Samuel Roelkey, son of Alecia Sexton of Rocky Ridge.
James Sanders, son of Ralph and Brittany Sanders, named the cutest boy; twin brother, John Brooke Sanders, named the chubbiest baby. Olivia Hahn, 17-month-old daughter of Amanda and Danny Hahn, named the prettiest girl.
