New Signs Installed on Thurmont Trolley Trail
New interpretive signs were installed on the Thurmont Trolley Trail. The signs turned out exceptionally well, and a big shout out goes to Shannon-Baum Signs for its work on fabrication and installation. An even bigger shout out goes to former Thurmont Parks & Recreation Commission member, Amie McDaniels. Amie came up with the content for the signs and played a huge role in designing the layout for the signs.
The signs are located along the Trolley Trail between Water Street and the Library Loop Trail. Town staff will install asphalt pads around the base of the signs in the next few weeks. Funding for this project comes from a Local Parks & Playgrounds Infrastructure grant.
