New Damascus Road Christian Academy Opens in Waynesboro

Waynesboro has a new option for families seeking faith-based education. In August, Damascus Road Christian Academy opened its doors at 336 Barnett Avenue.
The school was founded by Haley Reynolds, who said she has always had a passion for education and felt called to open a Christian school. The academy is currently accepting active enrollment for students in pre-K through 8th grade; grades 9-12 are being placed on a waiting list. The Academy is welcoming applications for the current school year and is open to residents of Pennsylvania and Maryland.
Damascus Road Christian Academy emphasizes both academic growth and spiritual development. The school uses innovative teaching methods and a tailored curriculum that allows students to progress at their own pace. In addition to academics, students take part in Bible studies led by Executive Director Carl Fulmor of Cascade.
“Our vision is to provide students with a strong foundation in both learning and faith,” Reynolds said. “By combining academics with spiritual education, we hope to set a new standard for Christian schools in our community.”
