May Family Reunion
A Long-Standing Tradition
Members of the Clarence and Ruth May family gathered at the Rocky Ridge Fire Hall on July 20 to celebrate their long-standing tradition of reunion. Clarence and Ruth, who moved to Thurmont in 1935, raised thirteen children, and their descendants have been coming together for more than 60 years to share memories, laughter, and a meal.
The eldest living sibling, Charles May Sr., will be celebrating his 93rd birthday this October. The family also fondly remembered siblings who have passed: Norman May, Raymond May, Harvey May, Thurman May, Clarence May Jr., Dorothy Smith, Gloria Caudill, and Patsy Main.
