AMVETS Post 7, Thurmont

Greetings and salutations! This month, the door is opening to spring and St. Patrick’s Day. As we continue to strive to serve our Veterans and community, we would like to invite you to join the Sons for a fundraising Catfish & Chicken Fry on March 15. Also, mark your calendars for April 13, as the AMVETS Auxiliary is hosting a free-to-attend children’s Easter party. The post offers Bingo to the public every Thursday, starting at 7:00 p.m.

A few days of remembrance this month: March 25—Medal of Honor Day; March 29—Vietnam Veterans Day. Thank you to the men and women who have served our great country and continue to serve.

The AMVETS are always looking to recruit new members. If you or anybody you know is interested, stop by for an application to see if you are eligible to join.
