American Legion Post 168, Thurmont
June was the installation of officers. We are pleased to share with you the following Volunteers that have stepped up to hold an Office and serve our Veterans and Community.

July was the start of the new calendar year for the American Legion. Several members from the Legion, SAL, and Auxiliary started this new year by attending the Department of Maryland 107th (104th for Auxiliary) Annual Convention in Ocean City, Maryland. Join us for our meetings to be informed about what is happening during 2025-2026.
Speaking of a new year, your membership dues for 2026 are now being accepted at the bar or by mailing to the Thurmont American Legion, 8 Park Lane, Thurmont, MD 21788 (please state on the envelope whether it is Legion, SAL, or Auxiliary membership dues): Legion Membership-$45.00; SAL
$25.00, (under 21) $15.00; Auxiliary-$35.00, Juniors-$12.00.

The Legion membership picnic will be held on Sunday, September 7, at 1:00 p.m. Doors will open at noon. Tickets are $25.00 per person and will go on sale after August 15. You must show your 2025 membership card to purchase a ticket and to be admitted to the picnic.
