American Legion Post 168, Thurmont

Hopefully, you got your ticket for the Membership Picnic to be held on Sunday, September 13, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Doors open at noon. We are looking forward to beautiful weather and a great turnout!

The Golf Tournament in June was another great success! Thanks to all the golfers, volunteers, and the Maple Run Golf Course. We were able to donate $8,000 to Platoon 22!

Legionnaires, SAL, and the Auxiliary have adopted a military unit that is deployed, and we are actively collecting snacks through February, and we are hoping to ship them monthly. Items include, but are not limited to, jerky, energy bars, protein bars, microwavable Easy Mac, Cup of Noodles, and candy (no chocolate). Drop your donations off daily, from noon to 10:00 p.m. A collection bin will be in the lobby.
