FCPS Announces Last Day of School
Frederick County Public Schools (FCPS) has announced that the last day of
this school year for students is Friday, June 15. Schools will dismiss students
two hours early on that day for a teacher work session.
The last day of the school year for teachers is Monday, June 18. The
schedule assumes there will be no further days closed due to inclement weather.
FCPS closed five days due to inclement weather in the 2017-2018 school
year.
The 2018-2019 school year will begin Tuesday, September 4, 2018, for
students, with teachers returning on Friday, August 24. Fall sports begin
Wednesday, August 8, 2018. For additional information, please visit www.fcps.
