Tickling Our Tastebuds
by Denise Valentine
Hello, everyone. As the Christmas Season approaches, I start to
think about the things that I would like to accomplish in preparation
for the holiday. Baking cookies is always on the list. I enjoy baking and
giving holiday treats to family and friends, although it is sometimes
challenging to find the time to get everything finished.
Over the past few years, I’ve learned to limit my list to just the
necessities so that I’m not disappointed about what didn’t get done. It’s
like playing mind games with yourself, I guess. The following recipe is
one that I’ve made for many years.
I always try to include sugar cookies at some point. They are really
fun if you have children helping. They love to put the sprinkles on!
I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas!
