School Supply Drive

The Thurmont Lions Club did a wonderful job collecting money and donations for the school supply drive. They collected l,l95 items, plus $200 in cash, to support the children going back to school.

The supplies and cash were delivered to the Moravian Church on August 4. Backpacks, folders, pens, pencils, notebooks, supply boxes, ear buds, markers, rulers, glue sticks, crayons, binders, and calculators were some of the supplies needed.

They would like to thank all the members who made financial donations and brought supplies to the club meetings. A big thank you to Lion Joyce Anthony for delivering the supplies. “It is a pleasure and privilege to work with the great members of our club. Thank you, Lions!”
