Sabillasville Environmental School PTO Awards Scholarships

The Sabillasville Environmental School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) recently awarded two $500 scholarships to high school seniors who are pursuing a path in agriculture or environmental science, which is a focus of the charter school.

The two recipients were Ella Fell of Middletown High School and Hayden Hahn of Catoctin High School.

Fell plans to become a large animal veterinarian and run her own beef production farm on the side. She plans to study animal science and pre-veterinary studies at Oklahoma State University.

Hahn plans to start her own photography and graphic design business while continuing to grow and operate Windy Ridge Acres, her family farm. She plans to study business with an agriculture focus at Frederick Community College.
