We are incredibly grateful to Butch Wilhide, a true champion of our service dog program, Operation Save-A-Vet, Save-A-Pet, which supports Veterans with service-connected disabilities by providing them with highly trained service dogs, which can greatly improve their quality of life.

Over the past eight years, Butch has been an unwavering supporter, helping to raise nearly $100,000 for this life-changing program through his connections with American Legions, VFWs, and other Veteran organizations. His dedication and tireless efforts continue to make a profound impact on the lives of our Veterans.

Recently, Butch presented another generous check for over $14,000—a testament to his passion and love for our Veterans. His kindness and commitment to this cause go above and beyond, ensuring that those who have served our country can receive the support and independence a service dog brings.

Butch, your care and generosity inspire us all. Thank you for being such a pivotal part of this mission. Together, we’re making a difference, one service dog at a time.

Note: Butch Wilhide is a member of Cascade American Legion Post 239 Sons of the American Legion (SAL) and is constantly looking for ways to improve the lives of Veterans. Raising funds for Operation Save-A-Vet, Save-A-Pet is a volunteer endeavor he takes on alone to donate to this charity. He is to be commended.

Jeff Coyle, Financial Advisor of Post 239 SAL and Club Manager of Post 239, supports and helps sponsor this and many other benefits for Veterans. For more information on this service dog program, contact https://gooddogpaws.com/service-dog-training.
