Tickling Our Tastebuds

Hello, everyone! As I was cleaning up after Christmas dinner, I was
trying to figure out what recipe I would share with you this month. I had a
pan of baked ham leftover, and it came to me that my mother-in-law made
ham salad, occasionally. I had to call her, because even though it was always
delicious, it was something that I have never made and I never asked her
what else was in it besides the ham.
Her recipe is very simple, but she advised me to Google ham salad
recipes, just to see if there were other suggestions for additional
ingredients. So, the next time my husband asks why I am cooking so much
ham, I can tell him that: first, I want to be sure to have enough; second, I
have this great ham salad recipe and any additional can go in the freezer.

Ham Salad/Spread

Ingredients

Ham

Pickle relish or chopped pickles
Mayonnaise

Directions

Chop ham to desired consistency. Add a small amount of pickle relish and
mayonnaise and mix well. The best thing about this recipe is that it is easily
adjusted to your taste. Add more relish or mayo to get it the flavor that you
like.
When I googled this recipe, some additional optional ingredients that I
found in some versions were: hard-boiled eggs, celery, and bell peppers.
