CHS Students Earn Microsoft Certiication
Catoctin High School (CHS) offers three Microsoft Certification Training
courses that allow students to earn international industry certification in Microsoft
Office applications. Microsoft Certification Training courses at CHS help prepare
students to be college and career ready. And through the FCPS Articulation
Agreement, up to NINE college credits are available for students who take MCT I,
II, and III.
MCT I students earning MOS certification in Word: Alexi Baumgardner,
Liliana Bean, Christopher Beard, Cecelia Bosche, Devan Buffington, Kyle Cover,
Marlee Dinterman*, Austin Fraley, Zach Gascho, Noah Harne, Eric Himes,
Miranda Horn, Morgan Kock, Devon Kuhn, Tanner Lloyd, April Manning, Grace

Later this semester, our MCT I students will sit for the Excel MOS certification
exam while our MCT II students will sit for the Access MOS certification exam
and our MCT III students will sit for the Expert Excel MOS certification exam.
By earning MOS certification, these seventy-two students are exiting the doors
of CHS with industry credentials. They are truly college and career ready. These
students have worked very hard to master this technical material and should be
extremely proud of their accomplishments.
