            Emmitsburg-based Mid-Maryland United Baseball Starts Season Strong


               Emmitsburg-based Mid-Maryland United Baseball started its season in a very successful fashion. Both the 10U and 12U program teams won the USSSA One
            Day Challenge over Easter weekend. The 13U program finished as a runner-up in Olney’s Mutiny at the Park Elite Division. You can catch all of Mid-Maryland
            United 10U, 12U, and 13U home game action this season at Memorial and Community Parks in Emmitsburg. Stay tuned for the summer clinic schedule that

            British Soccer Camp Coming To

            Thurmont

               Catoctin High School is teaming up with Challenger Sports British Soccer
            Camps (https://www.challengersports.com/summer-camps/) to help provide
            a fun and different soccer experience to the kids of Thurmont, and the
            surrounding areas. Coaches will be flown in from the UK, stay with local
            families for the week, share part of their culture from back home, and provide
            a top-level soccer experience for the players in the camp.
               The camp will run from July 9-13, 2018, and is open to boys and girls, ages
            3-18. All campers will receive a free ball and t-shirt, a skills evaluation report,
            and, if signed up by May 23, a camp jersey.
