Dear summer
I know we complain
when you tease us with drought
or pelt us with rain
but do you know what we’re happy about?
Camelot days
and soft morning haze
a fresh cooling breeze
that ruffles the trees
and just enough sun
to heighten the fun —
Not hundred degrees
but sparkling seas
a few fluffy clouds
