            51  Annual Christmas Concert

               The Emmitsburg Community Chorus will present its 51  Christmas Concert
                                                                 st
            on Sunday, November 26, 2017, at 4:00 p.m. in the Basilica of Saint Elizabeth
            Ann Seton.
               David T. Clydesdales’ “Call His Name Jesus” will be presented with
            Thurmont’s Apples Church Choir, joining the twenty-seven member chorus.
            Ben Mathis, Paula Mathis, and Mike Mathis from the Apples Church Choir
            will be singing solos in the performance, as well as former Emmitsburg
            Community Chorus director, Kelly Krenshaw, as soprano soloist.
               The concert will also include Roy Ringwald’s “Caribbean Carol’ (The
            Virgin Mary Had a Baby Boy), “Fanfare for Christmas” by Lloyd Pfautsch,
            and Natalie Sleeth’s Baby, “What You Goin’ To Be?”
               The Chorus will also present this same concert on Tuesday, November 28,
            for St. Joseph’s Ministries at 7:00 p.m.; Sunday, December 10 at Homewood
            Crumland Farms in Frederick at 7:00 p.m.; and concluding the Christmas
            season, December 12 at Creagerstown St. John’s Lutheran Church’s Union
            Chapel at 7:00 p.m. Wakefield Valley Bible Church’s Message Bearers will
            bring several selections to this concert. Each year, the chorus enjoys being
            part of Emmitsburg Night of Christmas Spirit, held at the Carriage House on
            December 4, beginning at 7:00 p.m. this year.
               All concerts are free and open to the public. A free-will offering will be
            received at the November 26 and December 12 concerts to help offset chorus
            expenses throughout the year. The chorus continues under the direction of
            Peggy Burrier Flickinger and pianist Lisa Mattia.
               The Emmitsburg Community Chorus is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
