On Sunday, September 11, 2016, the 5th Annual Wetzel Reunion of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles R. Wetzel was held. Sixty-eight people were in attendance,
sharing in the fun-filled event at the Emmitsburg Community Park. A large variety of food and desserts were enjoyed by all. Special thanks goes out to Jean Eyler
and Melissa Wetzel for organizing the event and donating many door prizes (other door prize donors were Rob Miller, with pies from Barbara Fritchie, and
Mary Lou Wetzel, with several items). Congratulations to Zeke Davis, the 50/50 winner, and to Nancy Wetzel, the winner of the extra special door prize. Any
other family members interested in joining them next year, please call Melissa at 301-447-3797. They would be very happy to put you on their mailing list.
