Rocky Ridge 4-H Club Gives to Its

Community

During the month of April 2018, the Rocky Ridge 4-H Club collected food
donations for the local food bank. During the following month of May, the
Club planted flowers at the Thurmont Senior Center. The Club met at the
Center and every family brought a bundle of flowers to plant. After they were
done planting flowers, they all went to the Thurmont Grange building for
pizza, which they had earned for collecting stuffed animals at Christmas for the
local homeless shelters.

Members of the Rocky Ridge 4-H Club meet at the Thurmont Senior Center to clean out flower
beds, plant beautiful flowers, and spread mulch, a project they do for the Center each spring.
