In celebration of Mother’s Day and all mothers, we asked our readers to
send to us their thoughts and feelings about why their mothers are so special
to them. What is it about your mother that makes her so special to you? Take a
moment to read what several of our readers sent in about their mothers. While
we can all think of many “jobs” that are extremely difficult, many of us would
agree that there is no job harder, more physically taxing, and emotionally

My mom, Tammy Aubol, was diagnosed with a rare ovarian advances, fads come and go, life struggles ensue, but through every scrape,
cancer in September 2015, and underwent an immediate surgery every downfall, every triumph, a mother’s love remains the same—constant
at Sinai Hospital, where she ended up in the ICU for two days and indestructible. We celebrate all mothers—Happy Mother’s Day!
and remained in the hospital for eight more days. My mom has
since had a long, hard road, between chemo and trying to be a
parent to my ten-year-old brother and be a wife. She has never

My mom went full-force getting chemo every three weeks and I am thankful to
still managed to smile and see the good in this. Unfortunately, we have such a loving and
found out three weeks ago my mom found out she had another caring mother. She is
tumor. Now we wait to see what our next step is. I am getting always there for me
married in June and my mom has been my biggest supporter, no matter what and
even with cancer. She wants to put her second round of chemo is willing to help in
