Love takes many forms. We can “love” our friends, our significant other, our pets, and our favorite pizza. Love is a variety of different feelings, emotions, and attitudes, therefore very hard to define. But
what seems to be consistent is that true love is an affection that is deep and emotional, and in relating to relationships, it is all-powerful. Is love all we need for true happiness? According to Psychology
Today, the findings of a 75-year longitudinal study by Harvard researchers indicate that love is undeniably the key to a happy and fulfilling life. The lead researcher, Dr. George Vaillant, wrote of his team’s
findings that essentially two ingredients correlate with a happy existence: “One is love. The other is finding a way of coping with life that does not push love away.” We asked our readers to send in their
love stories, and what they believe defines a loving and enduring relationship. We hope you enjoy reading their stories as much as we did. February is the month of love; celebrate your love during this
