Five $1,000 Scholarships Awarded
The Emmitsburg High School Alumni Association (EHSAA) is pleased Extreme
to announce the winners of its annual EHSAA scholarship program. Four

Four scholarship recipients are seniors at Catoctin High School (CHS)
and were recognized at the school’s annual awards ceremony on May 30, Buy It!
2017. The first recipient is Alexi Baumgardner, daughter of Dwight and Kim
Baumgardner, who is planning to attend Virginia Wesleyan College, and
eventually enter the orthopedic field. Next is Rebecca Thomson, daughter of Wylie Water
Scott and Heather Thomson, who plans to attend Shenandoah University,
hoping to be a neurologist. The third receipt is Nick Little, son of Jeffrey
and Robin Little, who is attending the University of Florida to enter the Trailers
field of psychology and neuroscience. The final senior is Michaela Persinger,
daughter of Wayne and Beth Persinger, who plans to attend McDaniel 500 - 800 - 1000
College to major in exercise science and physical education.
The fifth recipient is a former graduate of CHS. Maya Swiderski, daughter gallon units in stock
of Deborah Wivell and William Swiderski, is attending the University of
