Butterflies Night lights stealthy stalking
scare away the dreaded accelerating the pulsations

Butterflies dispel the fears that creep tremble, whistle, peer
with every creaking step over my fleeing shoulder
squeaking door at whatever nothing
banging shutter challengers my being
when the whistling eaves sharing whatever never
invite the scary goblins fails to frighten
with peering eyes the night lights
and stringy fingers out of me.
